The weather was quite windy during the day today, but we could not have had a better day!
We spotted one Humpback Whale on our tours north of Hjalteyri.
Our absolute highlight of the day happened during our afternoon tour just as we were about to leave the area where the Humpback Whale was. We turned our boat to depart and the Humpback started to breach continuously!!! This was UNBELIEVABLE!
It just did not stop. We got to watch countless breaches, tail slaps and pec slaps - you name it.
Everyone on board was extremely excited and we really got to witness the best of the best today. It was such an extraordinary encounter, we could hardly believe it ourselves!
