Good day everyone!

Finally the sun is back and treats us with some warmth and good vibes. In the morning there was only little to no wind coming from the south, therefore the fjord was a great place to sail in and made spotting whales very easy. We encountered 3 Humpback Whales and 1 Minke Whale on the express tour. 2 of those Humpbacks were just north of Hjalteyri and moved towards Akureyri. They were more and less active, possibly feeding and surface resting. The sunshine made taking photos very easy.
Unfortunately in our afternoon tours we couldn’t find these whales again, and the sea became rather rough as well. But we as well as our guests were still happy to spend the day out on the water.
