The weather conditions were good today, mostly calm and sunny!
As we sailed out, we encountered a big pod of White-beaked Dolphins south of Hauganes! This is always very exciting, because we do not see them here all that often. We had nice and very close encounters as they got playful with our boat.
A bit further out, we spotted one Humpback Whale south of Hrísey. After watching this Humpback resurface a number of times, we spotted another blow by Hauganes. As we went there to check this out a bit better, we encountered a second Humpback Whale! With both Humpbacks we had beautiful encounters.
It was a great tour in our fjord today and the wildlife in the fjord is amazing!
