Today’s weather conditions were great and we sailed out in a relatively warm and very calm fjord.
We spotted four Humpback Whales east of Hrísey! Again, three of them were surfacing together, while the fourth one was swimming by itself. They surfaced frequently and lifted their flukes high into the air before their deep dives. We got to spent time with these Humpbacks and were super lucky with nice and close encounters, seeing them well and hearing their breaths as they came up for air close to our boat!
We are already excited for our next tour tomorrow!
