It was a cold day today with some wind, which picked up further north in our fjord, creating some waves.
We sailed out and encountered three Humpback Whales swimming together south of Hrísey! It was stunning to see them! We were lucky to watch them resurface many times around our boat. They always went for their deep dives one after the other and one of them was one of our star Humpbacks, which we call Aretha Frankfin. This Humpback comes back to our fjord every year!
A windy, but beautiful day spent in the fjord!
