A heartfelt hello to you if you are reading our daily post.

Iceland is treating us well today and although it is decently windy out there, sun is shining and that makes all of us only enjoy the day.

So far since the morning we really cannot complain, we made our way to the Green Buoy which is located South-east of Hjalteyri and there was one after another whale popping up, we have had plenty of very close encounters with 6+ Humpback Whales and the waves were sometimes uncovering more than what we would usually be able to see when they come to the surface. We are excited to find those wild friends again with our afternoon tours, hoping for the best as it has been a blast so far.

In the afternoon we encountered 5 Humpback Whales in the very same location as in the morning. We had 3 of them popping up right in front and next to us at the same time. That was a little overwhelming, but in an exciting way!
