Beautiful morning sky today with calm weather, while the low temperatures continue.
Today, we didn’t have to sail too far before spotting our first blows south of Hjalteyri! We had amazing encounters with one Humpback Whale, which slowly travelled southwards throughout the tour.
After a while of observing the whale, we sailed further out, taking one circle in the fjord, before heading back south. On the way towards Akureyri, we encountered the same Humpback Whale again south of Hjalteyri, allowing us to see it for a few more surfacing sequences around us!
