Humpbacks, blue sky, almost no wind and mirror like sea should say enough about what a good day we had here in the fjord. We found the whales at their, one might even like to say, usual spot. Reykja, Dark Knight, Needle and King Louis proofed once more how magestic and impressive they are if we see them so close. A few of them were resting so that we could almost relax with them on our boat with no engines on. There is nothing like the calm atmosphere of Eyjafjördur paired with relaxed whales and only the sounds of the ocean. Overall we saw 5 different whales up close and 2 more a bit further out. A really successful day here in the North.
