Þröstur the Humpback whale.
Today we went out on two tours at 9 and 13. It was a magical morning with a mirror flat sea and fog. Despite the fog we managed to find at least 4 humpbacks, one of them a dear old friend for some of us guides that were working last summer in Reykjavik. It proved that it was Þröstur (see picture), the humpback whale that we saw for nearly two months in Faxaflói, Reykjavik during the summer of 2015. It was a special feeling seeing "him" again up here in the north! :)
