There was no wind left from yesterday, which made our trips today incredibly smooth again in Eyjafjordur. To top it all, we also had a bright sun that warmed us all to a boiling temperature of 13°C (to not be overlooked here in the Icelandic autumn) ! Everybody could take pictures of humpbacks with an excellent light, in perfect conditions. Today the count of whales went as high as 6 individuals swimming together. We never get enough of Porthos, Athos, Aramis and D'Artagnan, our four favorite humpbacks of the months named after the Four Muskeeters ! And today they were joined by one of our old buddy Dark Knight, and a fresh visitor of the fjord we named King Louis. They were always surfacing with energy but then swimming peacefully, so the sightings were both peaceful and exciting. We even got treated with some spy hopping behaviour on a couple of occasions ! Needless to say, we had a great time in the fjord, and we cannot wait to share this kind of experience with our future passengers !
