Cloudy and lazy Sunday morning in the north of Iceland. The cultural and music festival over the weekend made all the people going out enjoying the last days of summer. In the fjord the clouds gave us some rain in the morning which stopped later on. Humpback whales where few miles out of Grenivik village today. It looked like they were at least 6-7 individuals very close to each other during the morning; it was just blows when you looked at the horizon. Later on they spread out, however there were some individuals still swimming side by side. Some of the animals were travelling out of the fjord quiet fast, while other were just resting almost at the same spot every time they came up at the surface, fantastic to see this creatures.
