Freezing conditions out on the fjord today but luckily our overalls and hot drinks kept us warm. The fjord was wonderfully flat and the landscape covered in a thick layer of snow which just looked incredibly beautiful. It took us some time to locate the whales today but after some very long dives a Humpback Whale surfaced. We were able to stay with this whale for sometime. After checking our on-board catalog we discovered this was a new whale! Which is yet to be named as its new to the fjord. On sailing back some beautiful little harbour porpoises popped up out of the surf and we were able to watch them as they crossed the fjord. Yet another magical day in Eyjafjörður.
