Windy and chilly times here in the fjord on this Monday at the beginning of September. We sailed out prepared in our red overalls against wind and rain, eager to see whales, dolphins and porpoises. Everyone was out on deck looking out for whales while admiring multiple rainbows against the stunning scenery. No matter how hard we searched, battled the swells and sailed in the wind, the cetacean gods did not seem to be in our favor today. As we could not find any cetaceans, we gave out complimentary tickets to all of our passengers to come again and try with us from Akureyri or Reykjavik.
