Cold but very sunny day in Eyjafjordur!!! When we left Akureyri on our boat Konsull the sea was flat like a mirror and before arriving to Hauganes we were lucky to find two Humpback whales. We had many good encounters with them and our passengers were delighted with their performances! In the afternoon we spot the same two individuals, and one of them gave us an amazing show. The humpback whale threw the peduncle and tail slapped several times above the water surface, once even very close to our boat and all of us could enjoy this peculiar behaviour for a long time. We are so happy summer is not over yet!!!
