Long tour behind us! We started the tour having perfect conditions, flat seas, sun just came above the mountains and also the day was a lot warmer than yesterday! We sailed out from Akureyri heading towards north and it took us good 1.5 h to get to Hrisey Island and still we haven’t spot any sign of wildlife. The weather was getting worse, it started raining and the fog was getting thicker. It was on our way back when we found a Humpback Whale very close to Akureyri. Great surprise after such a long trip! It was again Iskona, active and curios - the whale came very close to us at some point. We came back a bit late to the harbour but it was agreed with our passengers as we found the whale at the very end of the tour.
