A beautiful winter day to sail the fjord, with snow covered landscapes, a shining sun and little wind made sailing a joy. It didn´t take very long for us to find the whales today, after only 40 minutes we were watching the beautiful humpback whale Iskona, who we were ecstatic to see again after a week or so apart. After viewing Iskona´s fantastic form and fluke for some time, we then headed further out where a large pod of 14+ white-beaked dolphins were spotted. They gave us a wonderful encounter, with many a jump, leap and some wonderful surfacings. There were juveniles and calves with them who seemed to enjoy popping up close to the boat, then racing to the other side only to pop up again. Dolphinatly a wonderful day!
