A beautiful sunny day as we set out today, during the tour it began snowing but luckily it did not last long and once again the sun began to shine. As we neared the old herring factor in Hjalteyri, we saw something in the distance only to find a mass feeding frenzy of 50+ white-beaked dolphins and lots of bird life. Dolphins and birds alike were swimming on the surface of the fjord and gorging themselves on fish. The dolphins were also jumping, leaping and body slamming, which was incredible to watch. We watched this amazing encounter for some time before heading back to harbour. A magnificent day!
