A fantastic day to be out on the water, it was beautifully sunny there was very little wind and the fjord very flat. On our morning tour only after 5 minutes of leaving the harbour our first whale was spotted. The wonderful Humpback Whale we saw yesterday was still lunge feeding in the harbour! It showed us some incredible behaviors and some wonderful surfaces and even raised its wonderful tail at times. On heading out of the fjord we found harbour porpoises and a beautiful minke whale which came up brilliantly close to us and took us all by surprise. Our afternoon tour followed suit with some more exceptional behaviors from this amazing whale and a sail down the fjord allowed us to see the beauty of the fjord in summer time and many different bird species. Yet another incredible day to sail in Eyjafjörður.
