VERY windy weekend and challenging tours today - we went out two times and both times we had a chance to experience what extreme whale watching can mean in Iceland. In the morning tour we found 3 whales, first we’ve seen a Minke whale in the same area as yesterday but we didn’t stay long with him to check out what we can find further. We found two Humpback whales close to Grenvik, they were keeping long distance from each other and even tho they seemed very relaxed, floating at the surface - it was not easy to follow them in the water. In the afternoon tour, the wind picked up and we struggled to find wildlife. Eventually we found a whale in the similar area but this time closer to Hrisey Island and we spent rest of the tour enjoying his company.

Departures Today: 10:00 Express, 13:00 Classik
