A stunningly beautiful day! The sun was shining and the wind not too bad as we started the day but grew much stronger as the day progressed. Our morning express saw two new humpback whales in the fjord which were surfacing together which was really special to see. They were even coming super close to us too and in a very relaxed calm manner. Our afternoon classic adventure found one of the whales from the previous tour who seemed to have split off from the other one. Again we were able to enjoy some fantastic close encounters and some wonderful surfacings. At 17:00 our passengers were able to experience an Icelandic roller coaster with lots of splashes and some rolling waves. Some cute little harbour porpoises were spotted leaping out of the surf but nothing bigger was seen and therefore complimentary tickets were given out to passengers. Regardless, the fjord blessed us ,as always with its exceptional beauty and therefore all passengers were able to enjoy the tour. A wild, windy but delightful day!
