Beautiful sunny day in the fjord! It’s getting a bit colder in the mornings now but not even a little less sunny! Today we went out on two classic tours, in the morning we found 3 Humpback whales close to Árskógssandur heading towards south, In the beginning it was quite difficult to follow them as two of them were popping up just on the opposite sides of the boat and it was hard to decide which direction to take. The fjord is filled with Jellyfish and it looks just stunning when lighted by the sun. In the afternoon we found two Humpback whales again, one was different from the ones in the morning. We also had a phonecall about two more whales further out in the fjord but we didn’t have enough time anymore to check them out. Hopefully we’ll find them tomorrow!
