Well what can we say about this day except that we are simply blown away by the sheer abundance of humpback whales currently staying far inside the fjord. On two tours we saw at least 10 humpback whales! Some of them were known to us but others turned out to be new arrivals, or at least we had not documented them before. Many of them allowed us to approach very closely so that we were even sprayed on occasion. On top of that we were spoiled by blue skies and sun all day. If you could plan a whale watching tour under perfect circumstances, this would be the way to do it!
