What a beautiful day out on the fjord today! Our morning express tour found two wonderful humpback whales surfacing together. One of which was our fjord favorite “Cosmos”. Later we found yet another whale to delight us with some very close surfacing’s. Our afternoon tours found even more whales some of which were going for very long dives so were a bit tricky to watch. However, going further out we found another two humpbacks surfacing together both of which we knew “Aretha Frankfin and “Jubilee” gave us some incredible close encounters and delighted us all with some wonderful dives. On the way back two minke whales were also spotted just north of Hjalteyri as well as some very cute harbour porpoises. To top off the five humpbacks, two minkes and several harbour porpoises the fjord was amazingly flat today and the sun was even shining, just beautiful!
