What a whale of a time we had this afternoon. The sun was shining the fjord was flat and there was very little wind. On heading out we were delighted with many playful harbour porpoises that were popping up here, there, and everywhere. Around Hauganes we found a whale party. Everywhere we looked humpback whales were popping up near and far, with plenty more in the distance. We got to enjoy many close encounters including some fjord familiars such as “Aretha Frankfin”, “Inkblot” and “Gills”. The last of which hasn´t been seen here in the fjord since 2018 and was also seen in Guadeloupe in 2017. To top that off there were at least three humpback whales which we have never seen here before! What a wonderful whale filled day"!
