Wow what a wonderful day out! Our morning express tour found some lovely little harbour porpoises, a minke whale and lots of lovely humpback whales. Passengers were delighted with some very close encounters and some wonderful tail flukes. Our afternoon classic found more harbour porpoises and whale soup just south of Hauganes and were enchanted by the many humpback whales we had popping up here, there and everywhere. On a few occasions as we waited for whales to pop up, they came bursting up to the surface right in front of us! Just a few meters from the boat! And not just in front either but behind and to our left and right! Some of the magical humpback whales we got to see today included “Blowormir”, “Millennium Falcon”, “Brave”, “Satellite”, “White Chocolate Chip” and “Piccolo”. “Aretha Frankfin” and “Jubilee” were also seen very close up as both were travelling and surfacing together and going for in sync dives. What an exceptional day!
