The Icelandic winter definitely said hello today with fluffy snow this morning and a clouded sky throughout the day. Nevertheless, we went out on one tour and found two humpback whales after a bit more than an hour of sailing. Aretha Frankfin was one of them and showed us again, what a great individual it is. The whale surfaced very close to the boat to the delight of everyone. We spotted two more whales in the distance but decided to stay with the one that were coming so close. Afterwards, we enjoyed a hot drink at our bar on Holmasol on the way back. It is nice to know that still quite a few whales are around in November.
