Beautiful weather in the fjord greeted us from the very beginning of the tour. Today we sailed out under a clear sky and sun full on shining while we were searching for the animals. It took us not longer than 30min to find our first whale which was a Minke Whale! Most likely it was the same individual as on last few tours and seems to be enjoying the area just above Gaseyri. We stopped to take a look at him for several surfacings and while waiting for him to come up we spotted a blow of a Humpback whale!! We sailed out a little further north and lined up more less with Hjalteyri when we begun to follow the whale. Our Humpback was very active and feeding so it was quite challenging to follow up on him but the last encounter of the tour was just incredible when the whale popped up just meters away from us and went for a dive raising up his magnificent tail right next to the boat.
