Windy day in the fjord but luckily warm and sunny. Today we definitely had a good chance to get some tan on the tour! There was no swell on the sea but the wind was blowing from the north and white choppy waves confused us many times while looking for animals. We were not even south of Hrisey island when we spotted a humpback whale! The whale was active and feeding, coming to the surface every few minutes but not staying long. Our fish finder was showing plenty of fish under our boat so we clearly came in a lunch time. The whale was changing directions a lot until he popped up very close to us, very relaxed stayed at the surface for few minutes. It really looked like he was checking us out! Incredible encounter.
