4 SPECIES TOUR! Today we were just speachless as the tour couldn’t have really been better! The fjord is full of fish and we’ve seen today plenty of Harbour porpoises all along the tour, a Minke whale, big pod of white beaked dolphins and 3 Humpback whales! The conditions were amazing, almost no wind or waves so we had perfect opportunity to look out for animals. FIrst sighting was just outside of Akureyri, plenty of harbour porpoises, not shy at all, they were staying at the surface for quite long time and coming up at all sides. We stayed long enough to spot a Minke whale in the area! He was actively feeding so we didn’t stay long with him and headed out north where we found dolphins and 3 Humpback whales. Incredible tour! We just can’t wait to go out there tomorrow.
