What a beautiful Saturday! Today we went our on 4 tours, 2 classic and 2 express and found 3 Humpback whales and a pod of Pilot whales is still around!! We’ve seen the pilot whales actively feeding on all our tours today and it’s been a week since they are staying in the area. This is incredibly rare species to see in the coastal areas and it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see them teaching their calves how to move and hunt the food. We were enjoying the sun and calm fjord until late afternoon when on the way back from our last tours the conditions has changed rapidly and we were sailing back in the fog and pouring rain. Perfect timing! It’s been a great day out there!
