Lovely day out on the fjord today! Our departures left from Dalvik today as the whales were a bit further out than normal and therefore, to give us more time with the whales rather than sailing we decided to leave from Dalvik. On our morning tours we found the fabulous white-beaked dolphins who came up beautifully right next to the boat and were even swimming along our sides, some were even breaching or jumping out of the water a little bit further away too. A bit later on we found a wonderful humpback who went for a lot of dives and therefore, showed its wonderful tails many, many times! Our afternoon departures again found this wonderful whale which is new to the fjord and is yet to be named. He gave us a wonderful look at his beautiful back and tail as he continued to surface so nicely.
