Cloudy and windy day in the fjord but at least it’s still warm outside! Today we spent our tours with a whale named Cosmo, a Humpback whale that is a returning visitor from 2017 and it seems that he enjoys the area as we’re seeing him for over a week now! In the morning tour we had quite difficult sea conditions, the whale was just outside Hauganes and we had few very nice encounters as he came up very close to the boat. In the afternoon the whale started heading north so we had to sail a bit further but just south of Hrisey he was clearly very active and feeding and we’ve got plenty opportunities to admire his beautiful fluke!
