What a beautiful day to sail the fjord today, the weather was fairly warm and the wind there was in the morning calmed throughout the day. Our morning adventures found some wonderful white-beaked dolphins that were super playful and were swimming all the way around the boat and even jumping and leaping very close to us. Later on we found some harbour porpoises and a wonderful humpback whale by Grenivík. This whale delighted us by giving us some very close encounters. Our afternoon tour followed suit with some more wonderful white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises and the lovely humpback who surfaced just wonderfully and occasionally raised it huge fluke into the air going for deeper dives. The evening tour found the wonderful humpback whale “Cosmos” and were able to watch this individual surface many times. It surfaced just wonderfully breathing out a wonderful high blow as it came to the surface. Just exceptional!
