What a day! so many whales in the fjord! Even that we could maybe wish for a better weather, the sea was calm and we had so many animals around us it was hard to decide where to look. In the morning tour we sailed a little below Grenivik to find 5-6 Humpback whales. On the way back we spotted one more just outside Gaseyri so in the afternoon tour we aimed to go slowly through that area and we found the whale just outside Hjalteyri. We stayed with him for few surfacings and went out further north to see if the whales from morning tour are still there and they were! We had beautiful encounters with 3 different individuals popping up almost instantly around us.
