What an amazing day here in Eyjafjörður. It was rainy and there was some swell but it was beautiful. Our morning departure saw two amazing humpback whales, the first one we found just south of Hauganes and watched it as it came up to the surface to breathe. The Whale had to come up a bit higher than normal due to the swell. This whale was recognized as "Blood Diamond" which hasn't been seen here in the fjord since 2017. The second one was south south of Hjalteyri and is also one we know from 2017 "Cosmos". The afternoon tour was a little bit more wavy but still wonderful. We found the lovely "Cosmos" the humpback whale and enjoyed its beautiful tail as it went for some remarkable dives. With delighted crew and passengers we sailed back to dry ourselves off.
