Good evening! We had another day with amazing weather and even better whales in Eyjafjörður! The sun was shining and the water was flat and calm.
On each of our tours we spotted a total of around 20 Humpback Whales south of Hjalteyri! We saw them all around the area and never had to wait long before the next whale resurfaced, some of them were swimming in pairs and went for synchronized deep dives! We had a few extremely close encounters as the Humpback Whales seemed quite curious today and came up close to our RIB boat on both of our tours! It was unbelievable.
In the morning we also spotted a Minke Whale for a short moment as we were sailing out.
This is the time to go whale watching here! We are left speechless after all these beautiful encounters that we have lately.
