Good afternoon! This morning, we sailed out in rainy weather and there were a few waves in Eyjafjörður due to the wind.
We sailed out and spotted two Humpback Whales south of Hauganes. They were taking turns surfacing around us, so we never had to wait more than a few minutes in between seeing them! We also had several close encounters with these two individuals, which we have known for several years: Ískona and Aretha Fankfin! It’s always great to recognize whales, that have been coming into our fjord over the last years. We had a really beautiful encounter with these two Humpback Whales!
In the afternoon, we unfortunately had to cancel our tours because the weather conditions changed and the weather got worse, so we were unable to sail out. But we are excited to sail out again!
