Good afternoon! We sailed out in windy and rainy conditions today, but that didn’t stop us from seeing whales! The rain mostly stopped in the afternoon, but it was a bit windy throughout the day.
On our morning and afternoon tours, we encountered one Humpback Whale per tour, but on each tour it was a different one. So this morning we saw a Humpback Whale, that we call Birdie, and in the afternoon we were able to spot Ískona. On both tours, the whales resurfaced several times close to our boat and we got to see them very well. We had beautiful tours and the whales fortunately don’t mind the weather!
When we sailed out in the afternoon, we briefly got to see the Northern Bottlenose Whales in Pollurinn, so within minutes of starting the tour. What a great way to begin a tour!
