Good afternoon, today we had some rainy weather here in our fjord. But the sea was mostly flat, so we had good conditions for our tours and for spotting whales!
On our morning tours, we had incredible encounters with two Humpback Whales, one of them didn’t show us the fluke but the other one could be identified as Ískona! They were swimming right next to each other, surfacing at the same time over and over again.
When we were almost back in the harbor, we saw at least four Northern Bottlenose Whales just across from the warm waterfall.
In the afternoon, we were able to spot Ískona again and we had a very close encounter with this whale when it came up for a breath right next to us. What a beautiful day!
