Good afternoon. The weather and the whales keep on spoiling us in Eyjafjörður! We had another day with good and calm, but a little cold weather conditions as well as lots of whales!
We only had to sail out to the area of the green buoy today and spotted our first blows there! We saw several Humpback Whales surfacing near and far. As we were watching some of them coming up to the surface by our boat, we could still see many blows in the distance north and south of us. In total we counted at least 10 Humpback Whales again today. What a treat! We even got to see one Humpback Whale surfacing right next to our boat and calmly swimming past us to go for a deep dive in the back of our boat. This was incredible!
Such a great day on the water today and the fjord is still full of whales!
