Good afternoon, we had another day with good and calm weather conditions in Eyjafjörður.
On the tour today, we saw a total of at least 10 Humpback Whales just north of the green buoy! We were super lucky again, we didn’t have to sail out very far and got to watch these beautiful whales! In between we also spotted one Minke Whale as well as Harbor Porpoises, so we saw all of our most frequently seen cetacean species in Eyjafjörður today.
The Humpback Whales were all around the area again, some of them were swimming in pairs, going for deep dives at the same time. We were also able to watch some of the Humpbacks very well when they came up for a breath just next to our boat.
It was another fantastic day for whale watching here in our fjord and we are looking forward to tomorrow!
