Welcome to the season of 2022! We are excited to be able to say that we are sailing again! from now on we have at least one tour scheduled a day and are looking forward to welcoming you onboard. Finding and watching whales is our passion and we set out on February 11th once more to find these fascinating creatures. Sailing through snow covered Eyjafjördur is truly a sight to behold. Even if we are not sailing, we are always observing the fjord and talking to locals to stay up-to-date about the cetacean activity. Thus, we sailed far out where whales had been spotted during the previous days. However, we could not find the whales on this occasion. On the way back, we saw a huge blow in the middle of the fjord. Once we arrived at the spot, no whale, unfortunately, was to be found. We returned to Akureyri and gave out complimentary to all of our passengers to try again, free of charge, either here or with Elding in Reykjavik. May the whales be more cooperative tomorrow!
