Beautiful sunny day in Akureyri and Valentine’s day! Did you know that when a Blue whale falls in love and brings a heart to another whale it brings over 600kg! Big whales must love big time!

No blue whales were found on the tour today, but the weather was perfect and we found 3 Humpback whales actively feeding in the same area. One of the whales was a whale we know pretty well by now - Inkblot! It is a 4th winter in a row that we are seeing this individual in the fjord. He seemed curious and relaxed, few times came very close to us.
