Stunning conditions awaited us this Sunday in March. We sailed out under a bright, blue sky with flat and calm seas, while the snow-covered mountain tops were glittering in the distance. The good conditions allowed us to sail all the way to Olafsfjörður and we ended up circumnavigating the island of Hrisey. On the Western side, we found a large pod of harbour porpoises. To our delight, they were easy to watch in the glassy seas. We had a good time but still gave out complimentary tickets at the end as we did not encounter any larger cetaceans.
