Happy international womens day! Beautiful day in the fjord with a dream weather, calm seas and blue sky, that’s how nature decided to celebrate the women in our little fjord. We sailed out very far today, we passed Hrólfsker and reached all the way to Olafsfjordur as we spotted a huge group of birds, dominated by seagulls and Fulmars. We had our hopes high as birds can be great indicators of cetaceans but unfortunately not today. We didn’t spot any whales on the tour so complimentary tickets were given to all our passengers to repeat the experience for free and join us again in Akureyri or Reykjavik within next two years.
