A gorgeous sunny but windy day expected us in the fjord today. Many sea birds from Kittiwakes to Northern Fulmars constantly accompanied us and raised our hopes that cetaceans would have returned to this beautiful place. And really, after an hour or so we saw a big pod of harbour porpoises. It must have been at least 20-30 individuals split in two groups. We loved observing this porpoise party. However, as we consider them a bonus sighting, we continued our search for something bigger. Unfortunately, we did not meet any other cetaceans this time around and gave out complimentary tickets. Still, the increased presence of porpoises and sea birds makes us hopeful for tomorrow!
