Good evening. Although we had a cloudy day, we have had the perfect conditions for spotting our incredible animals! Moreover, today we have had the pleasure to exhibit all our big vessels at once…in other words, the real season already started! Today the sightings began next to the town of Hjaltery, starting with a tricky minke whale. Even so, we continued sailing out up north. There, next to Hrisey, we ended up finding 3 humpback whales. Because all the boats were tipped, it was a bit crowded. Even so, we followed the solid code of conduct that we always respected. After a lovely encounter, we started to head back to Akureyri, when out of the blue, some harbour porpoises popped up next to us…in summary, we sighted the most common species in the fjord.
