Well, well, well, we had the real Viking experience here in Eyjafjörður today. With lots of waves, a shy sun but the best attitude! Sightings started just between Svalbarðseri and Hjalteyri where we were quickly visited by our friend Astra, the Minke whale, but today it was more sneaky than usual, so we decided to keep sailing out in search of other species. And just SE Hrísey island we found two Humpback whales constantly surfacing. It was actually a pretty a mazing sight we even had the chance to se one of them feeding.

But the best of the day occured during our night tour when just next to Hauganes we found three Humpback whales feeding all together with a very big pod of White-beked dolphins also feeding and jumping like crazy!! WHALETASTIC day in the fjord no doubt!!!
