Whale hello there! We started the day sailing out from a very foggy Akureyri harbour, that very fast turned to a sunny morning. Very cold but very flat sea on Eyjafjörður. Fun fact about the day, we could say it was Puffin day! Because past Hjalteyri there was a crazy amount of Atlantic puffins flying and swimming all around. But that was not all because all chicks are starting to fly around the fjord, Northern fulmar juveniles, Black guillemot chicks simply a sight to see. But is wasn’t all birds, because around Hrísey island we have found today 5 Humpback whales!!!! But the center of attention was our friend Zebra the humpy with its turning and twirling while feeding very close to our vessel Hólmasol.
