Whale hello there! We started the day sailing out from cloudy Akureyri harbour. But not cold at all, and with a very flat sea on Eyjafjörður. Fun fact about the day, we could say it was feeding day! Because all around Hrísey island we found 2 Humpback whales!!! and both of them having a feast non-stop, simply amazing. But not only the whales because feeding on the leftovers from the humpies there were also a crazy amount of Arctic terns and Black-legged kittiwake. But it wasn’t all humpbacks and seabirds, because just when we where just entering the Akureyri harbour area…. BOM 2 Minke whales sneaking all around!!
